WE WANT TO GET STAMFORD BRIDGE BUZZING AND WIN

We are determined to make sure we qualify from this group tonight and to do so with a win. Since we first qualified for this competition, Chelsea have always reached the knockout stages of the Champions League and we need to make sure this year is no different.

We have won both our home games in the group stage so far, with really good performances against Bayer Leverkusen and Genk, and we are focused on doing the same again. The result and the performance at the weekend was a great lift coming into what is a big seven days for us two fronts. Beating Newcastle 3-0 at their ground, where they hadn't lost all season before Saturday, was brilliant and it pushed us above them in the league as well.

I want to mention Studge and Oriol for their performances and also Sala for being patient and taking his chance. Now, we want to take the momentum from that - and the 3-0 win over Wolves the previous weekend - into the two massive games in front of us.

We are focused on beating Valencia and Manchester City in these next two home games and putting ourselves in a strong position again both in Europe and the Premier League.

Tonight, Valencia will obviously be really up for this game as well and it's up to us to get on top of the game and to have our supporters backing us vocally from the first whistle to the last.

We have had some unbelievable European nights here over the years, when the crowd has been buzzing, and, believe me, that atmosphere rubs off on the players on the pitch.

Now, we have another make or break occasion under the floodlights at Stamford Bridge- let's make this a great Champions League night.

Come on the Chels!
