| FROM THE FIRST KICK, WE'LL LET WOLVES KNOW THEY'RE GETTING NOTHING
I'm going to keep things short and strip my notes back to basics today.
We all know Mick McCarthy well enough to realise he will be coming here delighted with our recent run of results and feeling as though they can get something from the game. From the first kick, we need to let them know they are leaving with nothing.
We have to go out there today and fight to win every ball, every tackle and every header. We haven't had the luck, but that is no excuse - we need to make our own luck. It's time for us to make things happen, and happen now. If not, it will be too late and we will be out of the running.
The most important thing is that we stand up, take responsibility and make sure we start winning
football matches. We have to get back into the habit of winning and then we can start looking further ahead, because we started this campaign with big aspirations and we want to maintain them.
Coming away from games with nothing hurts, but we have to turn that feeling into a positive force and say we don't want to feel like that again this campaign. We have seen in recent seasons how well this group responds when our backs are against the wall and that's what we have to do now.
We've got some massive home games coming up here in the next month or so and we are going to need to be at our best. Let's pull together, like we always do when it matters most, and make sure we come out of these big games looking strong.
