WAG with the nags

Toni Terry, the wife of Chelsea captain John, has been acquiring top-quality "warmbloods", as the best dressage horses are known.

Terry, the WAG with the nags, trains for at least six hours a week at the smart Oldencraig Equestrian Centre in Surrey, under the tutelage of multiple champion Vicky Thomson. Terry has purchased some extremely capable horses – the first was called Del Boy – and is as determined to make progress in the sport as she is to keep her efforts out of the media spotlight.

"Mrs Terry doesn't seek attention," according to Ian Winfield, the owner of Oldencraig and husband of her trainer. "She wants to make it on her own merit."
